Faculty Mentoring Faculty Program Speakers for Spring 2007


The Faculty Mentoring Faculty Program presented its first weekly faculty speaker series on Teaching with Technology during the Spring quarter of 2007. Speakers included award-winning teachers and new faculty experimenting with emerging instructional technologies and fresh approaches to teaching. Presentations were recorded live in the Mediaworks (ATS) Conference Room.

After each featured speaker’s informal presentation, participants discussed the advertised topic and other teaching strategies and tools, including SmartSite, the new UC Davis course management system, past participants in the Faculty Mentoring Faculty Program who have benefited from the peer support, new teaching ideas, and camaraderie generated at the weekly meetings.
