Faculty Mentoring Faculty Program Speakers for Fall 2008


The Faculty Mentoring Faculty Program is pleased to announce a new weekly faculty speaker series on Teaching with Technology. This quarter the speakers will include award-winning teachers and new faculty experimenting with emerging instructional technologies and fresh approaches to teaching.

After each featured speaker’s informal presentation, participants discussed the advertised topic and other teaching strategies and tools, including SmartSite, the new UC Davis course management system, past participants in the Faculty Mentoring Faculty Program who have benefited from the peer support, new teaching ideas, and camaraderie generated at the weekly meetings.
